Sara + Andy have a been intertwined in each others lives since they were kids. The universe knew that they were meant for one another, and as of October 1st, 2022 they were married. ♥
What I first chatted with Sara + Andy, they told me that they were envisioning their wedding day to have a romantic, woodsy vibe, with lots of hints of pine and glowing candles. They wanted an intimate gathering, where some of their favorite people could come together to celebrate their love and enjoy a meal.
The Bellflower was the perfect venue selection for bringing the visions of their wedding day to life, and all of what they envisioned did. It was also even more perfect because not only is Sara herself a teacher, but her Mother, and many of the guests are or were as well. Sara's Father even started off his speech by thanking these wonderful individuals, honoring them with the deserving title of heroes.
This small space was cozy with love, friendship and the warmth and glow of candles. And at the end of the night, the couple was able to ring the bell of the Schoolhouse.
After a morning of having their hair and make-up done with First Impressions Salon, they returned to The Bellfower for Sara to get into her gorgeous BHLDN dress.
All of the details set up and waiting for the couple by The Yellow Bike Planner.
The planners did an amazing job organizing, setting up the ceremony and resetting the same space for the reception making sure every piece of the couples day went smoothly.
Of course, you can't get ready for your big day without your Best People. And Beau, Sara and Andy's 120-pounds-of-cute dog.
The Ceremony was officiated by Sara's sister, Molly, who did absolutely wonderful job sharing Sara and Andy's love story with the guests and leading the couple into their written vows.
They had their best people standing with them, and Beau, their pup child, watching over them as they officially became Mr. + Mrs. Murphy.
A short and sweet cocktail hour, where the beverages were enjoyed out of glasses that doubled as the wedding favors, that were crafted with tree outlines by Sara. In fact, most of the décor, even their bouquets and boutonnieres were made by her!
Guests then grabbed their dinner from the food truck, Fat Mike's Barbeque to meet the couple inside.
Sara and Andy entered into their first dances, with speeches, pies, lots of great conversation and laughter to follow.
It was such a storybook perfect environment, for a movie-worthy love story and an outstandingly kind couple.
